The EKRB (Essential Knowledge Reference Booklet) is part of the English as a Second Language program. This project posed the challenge of visually explaining the rules of English grammar using only black and white and shades of grey. At 162 pages, it had a multilevel TOC and an index. The idea was to make the cover really stand apart from other workbooks a student may have in his or her backpack or locker, so the first edition was bright red. This second edition is the brightest shade of pink I could find. Here are a few sample pages to give you an idea of its content.
